This event, supported by the Institut Ramon Llull, launches the publication The Fragile Feast: Routes to Ferran Adrià by Hannah Collins.

Showcase Scotland at Celtic Connections-Spotlight Catalonia
This January, over 180 music industry delegates from around the world will visit Glasgow on the middle weekend of Celtic Connections (25th – 29th January) to sample of some of Scotland's and Catalan's finest musical talent. Showcase Scotland works with an international partner each year and is delighted to share the stage with Catalonia in 2012. Showcase Scotland is working with Catalan Arts, the Institut Ramon Llull and the Government of Catalonia to stage Spotlight Catalonia.

Miró, The Ladder of Escape, travels to Washington in May
On 6th May, Miró, The Ladder of Escape will open at the National Gallery of Art in Washington. This exhibition, which reveals the political commitment of the renowned Catalan artist, was on display at Tate Modern Gallery in London from April to September of last year, and proved to be a resounding success, receiving more than 300,000 visitors. Afterwards it travelled on to the Fundació Joan Miró in Barcelona.

The Great Escape 2012 announces its lead international partnership with the Institut Ramon Llull to present Catalan Sounds
The Great Escape is delighted to announce the Insititut Ramon Llull as its lead international partner for the 2012 festival in Brighton, presenting Catalan Sounds - music from Catalonia and the Balearic Islands. From Barcelona to the Mediterranean islands, Catalan territories are a hot-bed of new music, both live and recorded.
Artists wishing to be considered for TGE 2012 should register via the TGE website.
