Created especially for this occasion, the musical and literary performance Compliment à Mercedes combine the talent of two Catalan artists from Barcelona: interpreter-composer Eduard Iniesta, and actress Mercè Sampietro. The name of the show is taken from the title of one of the poems in Catalan that are part of the performance at the historical Théâtre du Rideau Vert, founded by Mercedes Palomino.

Documentary cinema can be a loudspeaker, a record, a complaint, or a tribute, and simultaneously establish itself as absolute truth, an ellipsis, or a stinging question about the world we inhabit and that inhabits us. Under the same language, that of non-fiction, we can sculpt discourses of a different nature, even conflicting ones, and therefore build, for the present and also for the future, some, other and diverse memories.
