Sant Jordi / St George is celebrated both in England and Catalonia. In recognition of this, the Catalan Government and organisations join up once again with London Borough Market to present a festive day of arts, roses and books on Sunday 22 April 2018 from 12pm to 4pm. Newham Bookshop will join us once again with a book stall with translations of Catalan literature. Free event, all welcome!

Eduard Márquez, Catalan writer and the author of poetry books, children's stories, tales and novels, will participate in the event World Perspectives: Eduard Màrquez, Norbert Gstrein, and Hédi Kaddour on 26 April at 6pm as part of Cúirt International Festival of Literature in Galway, Ireland. This event is presented in association with the Institut Ramon Llull for Catalan Language and Culture, and the French Embassy of Ireland.
