Bim, Bam and Bum are three friends heading to the beach. Along the way, they welcome more and more beachgoers into their merry band. Following a playful pattern of repetition, short dialogues and an ever-expanding cast of characters, the story moves along with speed, vibrancy and rhythm. Surprising twists and turns in the narrative keep the reader engaged and bring bursts of humour and freshness throughout. This story is a delightful celebration of friendship – an ode to childhood play steeped in freedom, movement, storytelling and imagination, as opposed to sedentary habits, sophisticated toys and electronic screens. The characters include children of different ages and human-like animals, some on foot and others on wheels, all showing the endless activities that can be enjoyed in the great outdoors.
