Kortrijk (Belgium) transforms into a contemporary art hub from 29 June to 6 October, with its streets becoming exhibition spaces for the third edition of this international event. Laia Estruch's Trena installation takes centre stage at the Triennale.

As part of an exhibition on the revolutionary Catalan psychiatrist at the American Folk Art Museum, MoMI presents a series of films on mental health, which includes the New York premiere of The Potential History of Francesc Tosquelles, a film by Mireia Sallarès.

The piece is the result of the first edition of the Randa Art|Science residency, organized by the Ramon Llull Institute, and is now being presented in Barcelona by the NewArtFoundation.

From May 29 to June 11, applications can be submitted, which will affect all those activities carried out between January 1, 2024 and November 15, 2024.

The Minister of Culture, Natàlia Garriga, visited the exhibition accompanied by the director of the Institut Ramon Llull, Pere Almeda, the artist Carlos Casas and the curator, Filipa Ramos. The inauguration featured a performance by the composer Marina Herlop.

The American Folk Art Museum will exhibit the legacy of Francesc Tosquelles and his ground-breaking therapeutic, political and cultural practices from 12 April to 18 August. The exhibition, which is supported by the Institut Ramon Llull, is accompanied by a publication and a programme of public events. The psychiatrist saw theatre, cinema, art and writing as fundamental therapeutic tools.
