Curatorship for the Venice Architecture Biennale 2025

DEADLINE

The deadline for submitting applications is from June 5th until 2 pm on June 20th 2024.

Submissions

Submissions should preferably be sent off digitally and must be sent through a generic petition addressed to the Area of Performing and Visual Arts (Àrea de Creació). The following documentation must be attached to the generic petition in PDF format:

  • Application for admission (Refer to ANNEX II of the application guidelines)
  • Declaration of responsibility for a natural person (ANNEX III of the application guidelines)
  • Declaration of responsibility for a legal person (ANNEX IV of the application guidelines)
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Project proposal: A proposal of no more than three pages that reflects the project’s main ideas according to the two conceptual frameworks and the budget set out in the application guidelines.

However, the application can also be submitted personally on paper by a natural person (not including persons with business activities) to the Institut Ramon Llull on Avinguda Diagonal 373, 08008 Barcelona, from Monday to Friday between 9 am and 2 pm. Please write “Venice Architecture Biennale 2025” on the envelope.

Natural persons or legal persons with Spanish nationality will have to sign the digital application with a digital certificate. There are different certificates for natural and legal persons and the correct one must be signed.

Natural persons or legal persons from abroad will have to sign the digital application with accreditation, which must be applied for beforehand from the Institut Ramon Llull. The process for the request for accreditation can last up to 72 hours, which must be kept in mind in order to submit your application before the deadline.
