Little Bergold wakes up every morning as a different character: one day he is a watchmaker, another a cowboy, and the next a mountain, or a whale. He never has enough! The way he sees it, there are many lives to be lived and he can be many Bergolds at the same time. While living different lives, there is always a tune in the background, a sleepless clavichord plays endless musical variations. And while it plays, the adventurous Bergold, asks himself: Who am I? Who will I become tomorrow?
